- Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh chemicals, brighteners, and bleach.
- First Wash Warning: Because the 1717 is garment-dyed, the pigment may bleed during the first few washes. Always wash brand new shirts separately or with like-colored garments.
Drying
- Air Dry for Best Results: Laying the shirt flat to air dry is the best way to maintain its shape and size.
- Tumble Dry Low: If you must use a machine, select a low-heat, delicate setting. High heat can cause the pre-shrunk cotton to shrink further by about 2-3%.
Ironing & Wear
- Ironing: Use a low heat setting and do not iron directly over any screen-printed graphics.
- Avoid Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean the garment.
